Hi, my name is Ruth Hommelsheim. I'm a CERTIFIED Alexander Technique Teacher AND Photographer Based in London.

The Alexander Technique is a gentle and effective mind-body method teaching you to change long-standing habits that cause unnecessary tension in everything you do.

Learning to use your body well with the guidance of an Alexander teacher can help alleviate a range of issues. It can enable improved balance, mobility, posture, and performance, along with relief of chronic stiffness, tension and physical, mental and emotional stress. 

Alexander Technique lessons aim to improve your natural balance and coordination, freedom of movement and a sense of vitality and well-being.


My mission as an Alexander Technique teacher is to help individuals optimize their physical and mental well-being, cultivate a sense of poise and presence, and live with greater ease, confidence and authenticity.
